I wouldn't leave them behind, if only to spread the fire of the horde, but they should not be in the front line.

I am ordering the trusty brothers to rendevous with the great army.
(if it makes a positive difference I will send the money to another player)
Unfortunatly the distance is to great for my regular army to travel it.

Yes, please send the money to another lord so we don't have them marching all of the way from your lands. It's probably best to coordinate with the Lord Archon on who to send it to.

If the battle comes down to levy - it’s lost. They’re poorly armed, armored, and trained. Literal fodder. The combined armies are facing 5000 horse archers and we heard what happened last time. Why send the smallfolk to certain slaughter if they are needed? My Lord Gewisse, The levies are never used as the primary fighting force of any army, they are meant to supplement the strength of the cavalry and men at arms present. They serve a vital purpose on the battlefield and shouldn’t be abandoned. Against the Sartaq Horde we face a disadvantage that could really only be surmounted with favorable terrain and sound strategy.

My understanding is, in the last battle, the northern forces were indeed mostly levy.

Allectus shuddered for a moment as he found himself back on the open plains outside Percyandria. The clear blue sky. The heat of the sun beating down on his brow. The weight of his sword and shield feeling heavy on his arms. Then the sudden waves of humanity crashing against itself like an untamed tempest at sea. The sense of being crushed and suffocated filled his whole being. His inability to find an escape from this torment. His eyes finding only the same sense of dread and fear among his fellow soldier. The moment passed and Allectus was able to recompose himself. He momentarily forgot where he was but made sure to keep it together and replied to Duke Gary.
“The army was caught by surprise in an open field and ambushed by the horde.
They were doomed from the start regardless of how many levies there were.”

Since no other realm has publicly declared their intent to contribute forces to the campaign, we can move on to the next and final topic on the agenda.
4. Diet powers and authority to resolve conflicts and wars between realms
After which we can attempt to nominate an overall commander for the campaign or simply allow those leaders on the field to decide who will lead them. Either is proper and acceptable in this case.
As for the Diet’s power and authority to resolve conflicts and wars, Lord Gewisse has already brought a proposal which has been seconded, if another has an alternative proposal or wishes to amend it, please voice your intent to do so.

He is whom I am entrusting my funds to.

I would like to further motion that we keep the Diet open so that unfinished business be conducted.
For once we have a war leader, there would be no better time to coordinate our war efforts than with the gathered lords here. I usually am the one ready to hop on my horse home to my lovely swamps, but even I can recognize the importance and need.

I usually am the one ready to hop on my horse home to my lovely swamps, but even I can recognize the importance and need. As I mentioned earlier, we can discuss the final topic of the agenda then move to nominate a commander for the campaign. After that, if there is anything else to discuss, we can do so before starting the voting process.

I would make a proposal that a War Council of a similar nature to the Diet be held every year until Sartq Khan's horde has been expelled. The war leader elected here could serve as Speaker.
