Warm regards, regents.
With quite a few players having quit the game so far, we have been left with a lot of "empty" space consisting of NPC's. This is especially true in the east. We have been unsure how to deal with this exactly, and have decided to turn to you, the community. Appended to this post will be a poll with three options. The first option will see the NPC's deleted entirely, and the amount of hexes that a polity can seize increase to 3 per turn. This has some downsides, including balancing, but is the only realistic option if something is to be done. The second option is to keep the NPC's as is, and work within the framework as already established by the game. Third, and finally, if none of those options appeal, you can vote for the game to end. If this option receives a majority of votes, then I will consider it the communities way of saying that they no longer wish for the game to continue, and we will retire the game with grace.
The poll is secret until it has finished, and it will lock automatically on monday, 6PM Danish time. Please do vote and make your voice heard on this subject.
Warm regards, Admin Bob & Admin Crusty.

With all active players having voted, the poll closes a bit before time.
Here is what will happen next:
A deadline will be set three days from now. Anyone who wishes to continue in participating in the game has until that deadline to post a budget. If you do not post a budget, I will assume that you do not want to continue playing the game and will delete your nation from the map, allowing other players to continue. This will probably take a bit (a lot) of map work on my part so I can't promise it'll be done overnight, but i'll see what I can do.
Thank you for your continued participation.
