Town criers have been seen throughout the realms issuing a similar declaration to all people's of the Empire. Listening to them you hear the following announcement.
Here ye, Here ye! With the backing of the Imperial Speaker Lord-Archon Evander and the Serene Prince Medici, alongside their respective realms, an Empire wide operation to restore order to the currency system is being undertaken. Over the coming months, a buy back scheme will commence where you will trade in your old Florins in exchange for newly designed gold coins. These new Florins will be the new currency of our great Empire, and will ensure all Imperial citizens will have their livelihoods saved.
Be sure to keep an ear out for future announcements for when this operation will commence and where to go and trade for these coins, as it will be every citizens Imperial duty to ensure they support this task.
