WAR WITH THE HEATHEN TURICIANS
It is only one year since that the dastardly Thorgerheimers, along with their foul minions the Turicians, let loose their savage armies upon the poor and defenceless people of Eriburn. Only by the valiant and heroic efforts of their most holy leader and his fearsome armies were the savages routed, and now the forces of Christendom have them on the run! The Holy Pope of Reme has made it clear that it is the duty of all Christians to take up arms against this foe. At the order of Fair and Noble King Percy, all fighting men of Percia have been instructed to take up arms against the heathen menace. Thousands have heeded this divine call and marched on Turicia - as we speak, no doubt, the noble Christian legions are making battle with the savages. Soon, our faith will be restored in these lands and the Pope’s directive will be fulfilled.

LIBERATION OF THE TURICIANS
The war is over! Vile King Hatar has been put in his place. His eastern provinces have been rightfully liberated to Percia.
The Tyrant Hatar has neglected his people. He has not once defended them from Tatar raids, nor made arrangements to relieve them with aid. He has betrayed his people and vassals. The oppressed peoples of these new Percian lands are now safe. In Percia, under the rule of the gentle and noble King Percy, they will have security, protection, and bread. They will suffer no longer.

As a notice to other realms - Percia will continue to make payments in gold florins until further notice. Any sovereign who might turn down these payments wanting instead for the new coin would be mistaken in rejecting coin made of the same measure and type of gold as the new coin, simply for the shape and image it is molded into. We will accept payments in the new coin and assume a 1-to-1 exchange rate unless economic circumstances change.
