To Who it May Concern, Approximately two years ago, The Military Order of Christ sent a missive to The Kingdom of Starsavo, declaring which hexes in the no mans land between our realms were claimed by MOC. The message explicitly requested no quarrel between our realms, and warned Starsavo not to enter these claimed areas. Starsavo, not happy with sharing his equitable half of the hexes, chose not only to ignore my message, not only to PM his neighbors to seek invasion partners against MOC, but to send his army to the border of MOC territory. Our troops swiftly cut this mans forces to ribbons, just as we told him would happen if he came to our border. A new message was dispatched to Starsavo, asking why he chose to do this. Asking why he threw away his mens lives to try to invade MOC territory. We proposed making peace by requiring a simple 100 gold payment to make Moroznyk II show repentance for his sins. This man, Moroznyk II, who so callously threw away his men's lives, not only refused this gracious offer, but claimed he didn't even order the attack. This man cannot even admit his own obvious actions. He ended his message by calling on God's Wrath to strike my order down. Well, Moroznyk II, I am hereby declaring that it shall be you who is struck down, but not by God. - Grand Master Johann Georg Wolfgang "The Hammerer of Starsavo" von Lüttwitz

Dear Grandmaster
This entire war happened because of miscommunication. First, my men were ordered to retreat back to my lands, to attempt to avoid any conflict. Due to your aggressive first communication, I wanted my men to retreat away from your army back into my lands, because I feared you would kill them if communications broke down. Instead, as they retreated, you chased them down and slaughtered them. When you communicated your land demands, perhaps due to language differences, I thought you were claiming far more than you actually were. And then, you go and aggressively berate me with threats of war. Given that I had perceived you as being extremely aggressive, I saw your demands cruel, and, (given my nations tight economy at the time) completely unreasonable. While I am aware you will never believe me, but I never wanted war, just as much as you didn't want it. But, now that I see you have no desire of peace, I will not ask for it. My people see you as the Remean Empire all over again, who oppressed us into hiding. So, If you do not want peace, then you will not have it.
Sincerely, with utmost respect, Moroznyk II
