At the year of 1202, rumors of a 'werewolf' had spread out across the land and it was said that many deaths had occurred across the land. Unfortunately, records for our fair land were incomplete. As such, our lord is a prudent man, he ordered an internal investigation to determine the truth of these horrific rumors. It was discovered that the land suffered from an overpopulation of wolfs who lashed out at our fair and traditional folk who had been afraid to even leave their homes at night due to these rumors. This has been resolved by hiring wolf hunting groups and a bounty system for wolf pelts, much to the joy of our people.

At the year of 1204, our liege had a report that there was a surplus of stone due to the cancellation of a private project. He was given an offer to use the stone to modernize Green Castle. Instead, he ordered the construction of a new church at the capital of Marche with the stone. Whether this was due to his piety, his prudence as a ruler, or some combination of the two is left to the speculation of others. It is expected that it will complete by 1207.

At the year 1207, a financial crisis broke out. There were many solutions attempted, with varying levels of success. Our liege focused on direct aid, which with the new currencies done elsewhere, more or less settled the crisis in the Duchy. More interestingly though, a new holy order had come into existence by the name of the Knights of the Icthus. Our liege, after having given a donation to the order, had sponsored an expedition which is the first of its kind for the duchy. It remains to be seen what the results of this expedition may bring but the duke seems to be, at the least, gradually tipping his toes in to see if it may prove to be a worthwhile endeavor.
